Announcing the Winners of the Fall 2024 KPMG Fraud Case Competition

The Fall 2024 KPMG Fraud Case Competition was held in mid-October at the Mays Business School. Twenty-four students competed in eight teams with three teams competing advancing to the Final Round held on Oct. 17. The finalists included:

Patricio Munoz from the Houston office of KPMG’s US Forensic Advisory Practice facilitated the Final Round judging, and Ethan Calleros, Claudia Melena, and Jose Rangel-Orozco took first place. They are pictured above (from left to right) with KPMG’s Munoz at far left.

The KPMG Fraud Case Competition is held each semester in James Benjamin Department of Accounting Executive Assistant Professor Michael Head’s Fraud Examinations course.
