Mays Business School is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Mays Outstanding Alumni Awards: Todd Routh ’86, Chris Work ’90, Jamie Duke ’97, and Devina Rankin ’98. This prestigious award is given annually to former students who embody Mays’ mission as leaders of character who make positive impacts in the communities where they live, work, and serve. This year’s recipients have achieved immense success in diverse industries while supporting future generations of business leaders through their selfless service in giving of their time, talent, and treasure to Mays Business School. Congratulations to these outstanding alumni!

Todd Routh ’86

Todd Routh ’86 has championed commercial real estate development as founder and leader of companies that manage millions of square feet of retail and mixed-use properties across Texas and beyond. Inspired by his own nontraditional path to Texas A&M, Routh and his wife, Stephanie ’93, have invested deeply in supporting future Aggies through transformative gifts, including ones that established the Routh First-Generation Center, student scholarships, and endowments for Mays undergraduate and graduate students, as well as a major contribution to the future Mays’ graduate studies building. He shares his entrepreneurial and real estate expertise as a member of Mays’ Aggie Real Estate advisory board.

Chris Work ’90

Chris Work ’90 distinguished himself as an executive leader at the intersection of finance, energy, and entrepreneurship during his 30-year career. Prior to retiring in 2020, he was a member of senior management teams that built three $1 billion companies in three distinctly different businesses. A graduate of Mays’ James Benjamin Department of Accounting, Chris also earned a varsity letter as a scholarship athlete on the football team. Deeply committed to Mays Business School and Texas A&M, he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board, the accounting department advisory council, and the Lettermen’s Association Board of Directors. He also regularly works with student-athletes in the AmplifyU Program, which is supported jointly by the Athletic Department and Mays, and has established Mays scholarships. He contributed to the naming of the James Benjamin Department of Accounting, invested in the Wayne Roberts ’85 Building fund, and has been a longtime supporter of the 12th Man Foundation.

Jamie Duke ’97

Jamie Duke ’97 has more than two decades of experience driving organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and strategic transformation at the enterprise level for Fortune 500 companies. She currently serves as director of strategic projects at Samsung Electronics America, where she oversees pre-production operations for top-secret devices spanning all business units and phases and has shaped company-wide culture and processes. Jamie earned her BBA in Business Analysis, Management Information Systems in 1997 and was deeply involved on campus, including with the Memorial Student Center and its Wiley Lecture Series. She was recognized with both the Buck Weirus Spirit Award and the Thomas H. Rountree Award for her leadership and service. She remains a passionate Aggie, serving on the 12th Man Foundation Board of Trustees, Aggie Women Board of Directors, and as a Legacy Society member of the Texas A&M Foundation. She frequently speaks on panels for Mays Business School, sharing her insights with students and fellow alumni.

Devina Rankin ’98

Devina Rankin ’98 built an admirable career in accounting and finance, including more than 23 years at WM, culminating in her role as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Her CFO tenure, which delivered outstanding returns for shareholders, was marked by an unwavering commitment to integrity, discipline, and building an enduring culture focused on putting people first. Rankin recently stepped away from her WM career to commit her time to family, community, and giving back. A first-generation Aggie, Rankin graduated with university honors from Mays Business School’s Professional Program in Accounting, earning both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. She gives back to Mays by supporting student scholarships and serving on the James Benjamin Department of Accounting Advisory Council. She proudly mentors the next generation of finance executives coming from Mays as co-creator and lecturer for the ACCT 677 CFOs and Financial Leadership course. A cancer survivor, she also passionately gives back to nonprofits focused on advancing treatment, care, and science.
