The Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School commemorates a decade of leadership and innovation in sales education. This milestone reflects Mays’ commitment to developing new generations of sales experts.

In 2015, Mays faculty members Dr. Janet Parish and Dr. Andrew Loring developed the Professional Selling Initiative which laid the foundation for what became Mays’ first ever institute, the Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute, in 2019. For the past decade, Parish and Loring have created experiential education opportunities for students from across Texas A&M University with an interest in sales to develop their communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills. Through a variety of programming, from the Texas A&M Collegiate Sales Competition to the Sales Career Fair and more, participants receive mentorship from industry leaders, preparing them to navigate complex sales environments. Support and engagement from more than 18 corporate partners, like Reynolds and Reynolds, help the institute achieve its mission.

As they celebrate their 10th anniversary, the Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute continues to align its programs with national trends in sales education, emphasizing customer involvement and data-driven strategies. The institute’s initiatives not only prepare students for careers in sales, but also foster a culture of lifelong learning and professional development.

With a decade of impactful training, the Sales Leadership Institute remains at the forefront of sales education, equipping students with the skills necessary to succeed in their careers. Watch this video to learn more and visit the Reynolds and Reynolds Sales Leadership Institute webpage.
