“We’ve revolutionized online education through our state-of-the-art learning platform and innovative teaching methods that create a true best-in-class experience for working professionals,” said Nate Y. Sharp, dean of Mays Business School. “This top ranking reflects our commitment to delivering preeminent educational experiences and developing leaders of character—no matter where our students are located.”

Mays Business School offers eight part-time, online graduate programs designed for working professionals, each spanning 16 to 24 months. Mays Flex Online programs include our flagship MBA program, as well as Master of Science degrees in Accounting, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Management Information Systems. Additionally, two hybrid programs, Master of Science in Analytics and Executive MBA, offer professionals the flexibility to attend classes at Mays’ Houston CityCentre campus or attend online.

To determine the rankings, U.S. News & World Report scores schools in five categories: engagement, peer assessment, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and services and technology. Data from Mays’ longest-running online program, MS Analytics, helped secure the top ranking. The program saw a 60% increase in applications, while significantly increasing the incoming student GPA and hitting a record-high 91.8% graduation rate. Additionally, employer tuition support, which is evaluated within student excellence and reflects the value employers see in this program, grew from 15% to 30%.

“Our MS Analytics program provides students the technical skills to solve business problems through statistical analysis and data-driven decisions. Our graduates leave ready to generate increased revenue for their organizations,” said Jerry Strawser, associate dean for graduate programs. “All of our online master’s programs also teach students important leadership skills, including executive presence and critical thinking that empower them to build better futures in the communities where they live, work, and serve.”

Unlike traditional online education models, Mays delivers interactive, live virtual classes led by its world-class faculty members, who have completed specialized training in digital instruction. Students engage in real-time discussions with professors and peers, creating the same dynamic learning environment experienced in on-campus programs. Faculty evaluation surveys confirm the online learning experience matches the quality of in-person instruction. Students also receive the full Texas A&M experience, including access to the school’s support services, meaningful peer connections through cohort-based learning, and comprehensive career support and regular networking opportunities with industry leaders. Online students can even earn their Aggie Ring, and all of them benefit from becoming connected with the powerful Aggie Network of former students.

Applications are now being accepted for upcoming cohorts across all programs. Prospective students interested in forging a bold new path for their careers can learn more about Mays’ in-person and online master’s programs and application requirements by visiting our website or attending one of our virtual information sessions.
