Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School will host the 2026 Southeastern Conference (SEC) MBA Case Competition, welcoming teams of MBA students from across the SEC to College Station. Dell Technologies will serve as the client sponsor, presenting the business case.
In its 13th year, the annual SEC MBA Case Competition is a premier event established to showcase the skills and strategic thinking of MBA students and to give participants the opportunity to tackle real-world business challenges. “We are thrilled to bring this exciting competition to Mays Business School this year with the partnership of Dell Technologies,” said Jerry Strawser, associate dean for graduate programs at Mays. “The SEC MBA Case Competition not only highlights the incredible talent across the conference’s MBA programs but also fosters collaboration, leadership, and innovation among students. We look forward to seeing the innovative solutions the student teams develop.”
The competition will be held March 26-28, beginning with a networking reception on Thursday evening. During this rigorous event, student teams receive a case from Dell Technologies representatives, have 24 hours to prepare a solution, and then present their recommendations to a panel of company executives during divisional and final rounds. The top four teams as well as divisional winners for best presenter and best Q&A will win cash prizes.
The SEC MBA Case Competition provides an invaluable platform for students to solve complex business problems, collaborate with peers from other institutions, and showcase the excellence of SEC MBA programs.
